Join us for cocktails and dinner on Thursday, June 12th, at The Embankment ...
The Embankment Restaurant, that is.
If you haven't yet dined at The Embankment,
you're in for a treat. David and Anne-Marie O'Brien of The
Merchant recently opened The Embankment, which is located at Erie and
10th Street. Inspired by the railroad embankments that can be
seen throughout the Downtown, the restaurant features stone walls,
soaring ceilings, and a variety of dining spaces. Tom Ogorzalek, who
teaches architecture at New Jersey Institute of Technology and has his
own studio here in Jersey City, designed the lovely space.
David
and Anne-Marie are generously giving us the opportunity to raise funds
for the Embankment Preservation Coalition while introducing the
restaurant and its "seasonal New American cuisine" to our
supporters.
For
$100, you will enjoy an Open Bar and Canapes from 6-8 pm, plus, at
8 pm, a Three-Course Dinner with your choice of meat, poultry,
or seafood entree. There are also options of Open Bar and
Canapes Only ($30) or Three-Course Dinner Only ($70).
We hope that, whatever your schedule or budget, you can join in supporting the Coalition at this special event.
To purchase tickets via mail, please send a check, made out to Embankment Preservation Coalition, to Treasurer, 263 Fifth St, Jersey City NJ 07302.
