Thanks to all who attended our May 11th event to celebrate the municipal landmarking of the Harsimus Stem Embankment.  During the dedication ceremony the Coalition presented framed certificates of appreciation to Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham, the Historic Preservation Commission and Officer the Planning Department and the Municipal Council for their important role in bringing the Embankment landmark designation forward. 
Thanks also to our co-sponsor, the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy and to our exhibitors including the Jersey City Reservoir Preservation Alliance, NY/NJ Baykeeper, Friends of Liberty State Park, East Coast Greenway Alliance, Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance, Harsimus Cove Association and the Brunswick Community Garden. And thanks to our the local business and individuals who contributed to make this day a success.
Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham accepts his award and announces a plan to fund the Embankment Promenade. Ward E. Councilman, E. Junior Maldonado received an award for his help to the Coaltion throughout the landmarking process
Chairman John Cardwell, Jeni L. Branum, and Leon Yost accept the award for the Jersey City Planning Department Chairman Edward Meehan, Albert Stinchcomb, Erma Yost and Michael Ricciardone accept the award for the Historic Preservation Commission
Jerramiah Healy,  E. Junior Maldonado, and Mariano Vega accepted the  award for the Jersey City Municipal Council.  Picture coming soon!
Attendees enjoy the dedication ceremony and exhibits by our featured exhibitors as well as music and refreshments.
