Thanks to all who attended our May 11th event to celebrate the municipal landmarking of the Harsimus Stem Embankment.  During the dedication ceremony the Coalition presented framed certificates of appreciation to Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham, the Historic Preservation Commission and Officer the Planning Department and the Municipal Council for their important role in bringing the Embankment landmark designation forward.  Thanks also to our co-sponsor, the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy and to our exhibitors including the Jersey City Reservoir Preservation Alliance, NY/NJ Baykeeper, Friends of Liberty State Park, East Coast Greenway Alliance, Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance, Harsimus Cove Association and the Brunswick Community Garden. And thanks to our the local business and individuals who contributed to make this day a success.
