Join us in our mission to
preserve the historic Pennsylvania Railroad Harsimus Stem Embankment, improve
its streetscape along Sixth Street, develop the top as habitat and passive
green space, link the site to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway and a network
of local and regional greenways, and promote its use as part of the main Hudson
County route of the East Coast Greenway, a National Millennium trail stretching
from Florida to Maine.
By becoming a member of
the Embankment Preservation Coalition you will help preserve an important part
of Jersey City’s
history and protect and enhance the quality of life in the Downtown
neighborhoods.
